Day 1 : Airport / Dambulla
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be warmly greeted by your guide or representative who will assist you with your luggage and transportation. From the
airport, you will proceed to Negambo, to relax for two days.
En route to Sigiriya, you will make a stop at the iconic Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla. This UNESCO World Heritage Site consists of five cave temples adorned with stunning Buddhist murals and over 150 intricately carved statues of Buddha.
DAY 2: Anuradhapura >Mihinthale ( Day trip)
Start your day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel in Sigiriya. Afterward, you will embark on a journey to the ancient city of Anuradhapura, one of Sri Lanka's most
important historical and cultural sites.
Cycle Tour in Anuradhapura:
Upon arrival in Anuradhapura, you will begin your exploration with an exciting cycling tour around the city. This eco-friendly and adventurous mode of transportation will allow you to immerse yourself in the tranquil surroundings while visiting the city's numerous ancient ruins, temples, and stupas.
As you cycle through Anuradhapura, you'll have the opportunity to witness the grandeur of its archaeological sites, including the sacred Bodhi Tree, which is
believed to be the oldest recorded tree in the world. You'll also visit impressive structures such as the Ruwanwelisaya Stupa, Jetavanaramaya, and Abhayagiriya.
Day 3,Sigiriya / Kandy
Start your day early with a visit to the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, also known as the Lion Rock. If weather permits, you can aim to climb the rock for a breathtaking sunrise experience. Ascend the ancient staircase carved into the rock and marvel at the stunning views of the surrounding landscape from the summit. Explore the ancient ruins, including the remnants of King Kasyapa's palace and the famous frescoes of the Sigiriya Maidens, which adorn the rock face.
Day 4, Kandy > Ambuluwawa>Nuwara Eliaya
Day 5 Nuwara Eliya >Horton Plains > Ella (Train journey)
